The Asset Management Specialist is to perform managerial, administrative and technical/specialized work functions associated with assisting in the directing, planning, developing, organizing, implementing and supervising the city’s internal services and asset management.  The position will oversee the city’s records for real property, public services assets and logistical support.    

 

The Asset Management Specialist will also: oversee all aspects of asset management and inventory control for the city’s infrastructure and public services, create standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for all routine tasks or jobs performed, develop and maintain an asset management plan and data management plan through the Asset Management software, performs training of the asset management program, develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.  Additionally, this position will oversee all city leases and ensure compliance with their terms and conditions. 

 

The ideal candidate will:

·        Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure operations; asset management or related field.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, supply chain management logistics or related field. 
  • Have a strong understanding of Asset Management software as well as Microsoft Office products.  

 

The salary range is $42,601 – $64,823.  The actual starting salary will be commensurate with experience.
