June 7-9, 2017 - Hampton Inn & Suites- Orange Beach, AL

The Alabama City/County Management Association's 2017 Summer Conference will be held June 7-9 at The Hampton Inn & Suites in Orange Beach, AL. The conference agenda available here references the theme of this year's conference Sharpening the Axe of Public Management. The conference will provide attendees with valuable information and skills for more professional public management including collaboration, motivation, funding, and preparing for emergencies  as well as positioning the local government community with the future trends of the State. As always there will be an Opening Reception held on Wednesday, June 7th and an offsite tour to the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach on Thursday with the Annual Summer Social immediately following on the beach in front of the Hampton Inn & Suites.

To secure your attendance at this year's Summer Conference, use this PDF Fillable Registration Form. The registration fee for the conference is $195 per current-ACCMA member. Non-members will need to register at the $245 rate, which includes current annual membership dues of $50. Non-member businesses will need to register at the $295 rate, which includes current annual membership dues of $100. The registration fee covers all conference sessions, handout materials, and food & beverage events on and off-site. Additional tickets may be purchased for only $20 per person, per event for the Opening Reception and President's Luncheon for your spouse, guests or children over 8. The Summer Social is open to everyone. Also, CEUs are available upon completion of this conference but must be requested in advance. Each individual is responsible for paying for the CEUs certificate which is $10.

Room Rated are as follows: Inland View - $209; Side View - $229; Beach Front - $259 and Beach Front Suites - $309. The cut-off date for reserving your room is May 4, 2017.
